Auctions For Income
Dave
Espino
So I tried
this one from Dave Espino, and got everything in the mail.
Now I have
some pretty cool stuff lying around the house and garage that was my
grand parents. I mean cool stuff that you can not find too easily these
days. So I figured let's try this program, it seems like a fair deal
and who knows, has to Better than having some garage sale
which I refuse to do.
So my first
item using Dave Espino's direction was probably an original #1 Monopoly
game with every piece in the box and the original box, about the size
of my bible. I started the bidding at $25.00 Even though I would rather
just keep it on the shelf to show people than sell it for that, I
figured it would start a bidding frenzy or something.
Not the
case. All I got were e-mails from crazy people that I felt obligated to
reply to saying that my asking price was too much. You know what, how
am I going to make say an extra $5k a month doing this when every
auction is a wave of e-mails to reply to, and mostly small priced items
that if they do sell don't add up to squat.
By the way,
when an auction ends and you do not sell your item you still have to
pay the few dollars to have the auction. So I call that losing money.
Especially if you have multiple auctions running simultaneously as is
recommended by the course.
Next I
decided to go to the trusty directory of wholesale drop shippers from
the Auction for Income manual for some more current items to put up for
auction. Here is what happened, and what may happen to you
too. There are a gazillian other people that all bought Dave Espino's Auctions
for Income program, putting the same exact products up for
the same exact price. When you search through e-bay you get like 5
pages of the same exact product, model and all.
I did sell
a pair of cordless headphones to someone for around $50 and I lost
money. It ended up costing me more to buy it than I was able to sell it
for. Oh well I guess it's just not for me and as I said, I am entitled
to my own opinion right?
I never
returned the materials, even though I was told I could have. I have had
some very good e-mails from successful students replying to my article
saying how great it was, so the program probably can
work with some additional efforts on your part. Guess that's
probably true with just about everything in life.
